Lomo-sunday
Bloeiende Magnolia heeft voor mij iets magisch. Alsof het niet helemaal van deze wereld is, zo mooi. Een soort sprookje, van een boom die drie weken per jaar de mooiste is van allemaal. Ik maakte deze analoge foto’s met de Nikon FE, mijn favoriete analoge camera aller tijden. (Degene die ik vast heb op de foto rechtsboven)
Het is vandaag natuurlijk zondag, dus ik was veel te laat voor lomo-saturday. Dat komt omdat ik gisteren graag even naar de nieuwe Flying Tiger in Eindhoven wilde (aanrader!) en we ‘s avonds met vrienden (waaronder zij en zij) hadden afgesproken om te gaan eten bij een bijzonder restaurant, waarvan mijn liefde de site ontwierp. We hadden een heerlijke dag. Onze meivakantie is begonnen, hopelijk hebben jullie het net zo fijn als wij.
I’m in love with the magnolia in bloom. It looks like this tree comes straight out of some kind of beautiful fairytale, from a kingdom far, far away. And although my saturday was way to good and busy to find the time to join lomo-saturday, this Nikon FE-pics deserve their own lomo-sunday, don’t you think?

Lomo-saturday
De afgelopen maanden zaten mijn analoge Nikon FE en ik zo ongeveer aan elkaar vastgegroeid, vandaar ook het plaatje rechtsboven in de header van mijn blog. Ik hou van de foto’s van de FE, met mooie scherptediepte, ietwat vale kleuren en de voor analoog zo typerende ‘korrel’. En al klinkt ik wellicht als een totale mafkees, soms had ik het gevoel dat de FE me begreep. Mijn gevoel ving in zijn, of haar plaatjes. Gelukkig komt de kleur steeds meer terug, zelfs op mijn fotorolletjes. Onderstaande foto’s maakte ik een paar weken terug toen ik met een groep lieve bloggers in de Efteling was.
Last months, the bond between me and my Nikon FE became pretty tight. I carried the FE along all the time, it almost felt like the camera understood what I was going trough. (Do I sound like a total idiot now? Soit.) Luckily the color is back, even on my analogue pictures. I took this pictures on a date with lovely blogging ladies in the Efteling.

Paarden en de analoge camera: het blijft een fijne combinatie. Helemaal als er ook nog sneeuw ligt. Deze foto’s maakte ik gisteren in de schemering. Het zijn dezelfde pony’s als hier, al hebben ze inmiddels een dikke wintervacht.
Horses and analogue camera’s: I love the combination. Especially when it snows. I took this pictures yesterday, in the twilight. This are the same pony’s as you see here, wearing their thick winter coat.

Lomo-saturday
Ik ging met de Nikon FE het park in en fotografeerde de overgang van zomer naar herfst. De laatste bloeiende bloemen terwijl de blaadjes al vallen.
Bedankt voor de reacties op mijn vraag over de fotografie-opleiding, ik heb veel aan jullie meningen en ervaringen. Zal jullie op de hoogte houden van eventuele ontwikkelingen op dit gebied.

I went to our small town’s park with the Nikon FE and took some photo’s of the last signs of summer and first signs of autumn. There are still some flowers blooming in fall, such a pretty sight.
