Ik ben heel blij dat het mei is. Dat rijmt, maar ik meen het. De winter lijkt steeds langer geleden. De winnaar van het Snor ‘Bedankt! Opstuurkookboekje’ is Lisette, met deze comment:

Nou, puur voor de vorm (omdat ik nog noooooit iets gewonnen heb) dan maar:
ik zou het onmiddelijk mét een uitgewerkt recept dat dus onmiddelijk opsmulbaar is aan mijn beste vriendin geven, omdat zij me zonder ophouden aanhoort nu ik in een hele ingewikkelde privé-situatie zit.
In moeilijke tijden leer je echt je vrienden kennen!

Woensdag. Het is winter, terwijl ik juist zo’n behoefte heb aan de lente. Ik wil radijsjes uit eigen tuin, in plaats van uit de supermarkt. (ik verbaas me vaak over de schoonheid van de natuur. Die kleuren! Die vormen!) Ik heb bezoek van een lieve vriendin, we rommelen wat in en om het huis. Op Instagram vond ik dit gedicht, ik vind het prachtig.

Wednesday. Winter in Holland, thick snowflakes falling from the sky. I long for spring, so much. I want radices from our own garden, instead of from the supermarket. (love their beauty anyway, those colors!) A sweet friend came to visit me. Found the Emily Dickinson-poem on Instagram, I love it.

Ik ging met de Nikon FE het park in en fotografeerde de overgang van zomer naar herfst. De laatste bloeiende bloemen terwijl de blaadjes al vallen.
Bedankt voor de reacties op mijn vraag over de fotografie-opleiding, ik heb veel aan jullie meningen en ervaringen. Zal jullie op de hoogte houden van eventuele ontwikkelingen op dit gebied.

I went to our small town’s park with the Nikon FE and took some photo’s of the last signs of summer and first signs of autumn. There are still some flowers blooming in fall, such a pretty sight.

Vandaag waren Marlous en Iris hier voor een brainstorm over Marlous’ nieuwe Oh Marie magazine, waarvan Casper de vormgeving zal gaan doen en waaraan ik mag bijdragen. De foto’s maakte ik van dingen die ik om me heen zag vandaag, soms vind ik dat heerlijk. De meest alledaagse dingen kunnen zo mooi zijn.

Today I had a date with Marlous and Iris to talk about Marlous’ new Oh Marie magazine. Casper is involved in the process of designing the magazine and I have the honor to write an article. The photo’s are just some random snapshots from today, I love documenting my life this way.
