Niet op zondag dus hopeloos te laat, maar de vakantie legitimeert dat wel ‘n beetje: afgelopen week werd ik blij van nieuwe sportschoenen, (Nike zoom elite 5+, ik wilde ze al heel lang hebben) eindelijk vakantie, Mus’ nieuwe broekje met fietsjes van nieuwe sponsor Little Sahou en thuis zijn. Wat maakte jullie blij?

What made me happy last week: (on a tuesday thanks to the holidays) new shoes for working out (Nike zoom elite 5+, they were on my wishlist for ages) finally two weeks without work, Mus’ new leggings from new sponsor Little Sahou and being at home. What made you happy last week?

Fijne dingen afgelopen week: thuis zijn met Mus, koken met Wolf. (dinsdag weer een nieuwe ‘koken met Wolf’) Bloemen gekregen van mijn liefje. Bijna meivakantie. En een heerlijke zelfgemaakte pizza. Wat maakte jullie blij afgelopen week?

What made me happy last week: being at home with Mus, preparing diner with Wolf. Flowers from my love. Almost vacation. And a delicious homemade pizza. What made you happy last week?

Werd ik blij van vampieren-Mus, (na twee ondertanden nu een hoektand boven, haha!) een prachtige dochter voor vrienden van ons, (welkom lieve Fiene!) een taart bakken met Wolf en voor het eerst met Mus op de fiets. Fijne nieuwe week!

I laughed about Mus being a vampire; he got his canine tooth this week, even before his front tooth, haha! A beautiful baby girl for friends; welcome sweet Fiene! Baking a pie with Wolf and Mus’ first bike ride. What made you happy last week?

Welcome to all new IKEA-readers! I got a whole lot of email about the wallpaper on Wolf’s attic: it’s from the Dutch brand Onszelf and you can buy it here, they also ship abroad. The wallpaper on our bedroom is from the same brand and can also be bought here. The floor tiles in our kitchen are from Castelo. Hope you enjoy reading my blog!

Laten we het er maar op houden dat afgelopen week niet helemaal de mijne was. Ik heb stress en ben moe. Mijn mailbox zit helemaal vol, ik kom er niet aan toe om iedereen die me mailt een antwoord te sturen. Mijn foto’s en tekst worden voortdurend zonder mijn toestemming gekopieerd en gebruikt, waar ik me boos om maak. Om over al die foutieve Pinterest-links nog maar te zwijgen. Vandaar alleen nog maar foto’s met beeldmerk. (Ik vond laatst een foto van mij waar iemand anders haar beeldmerk in gezet had, de brutaliteit. Niet zo goed voor mijn gemoedstoestand en ook niet voor mijn blogplezier) Casper en ik zijn druk bezig met de posterlijn die we aan het opzetten zijn. Ik had gehoopt dat ik jullie daar wat beeld van kon laten zien, maar ook PostNL werkt deze week niet mee; hopelijk komende week wel. Gelukkig vond ik ook nog ‘n stel lichtpuntjes: deze week werd ik blij van bovenstaande foto, die ik maakte van de kindjes. Van vakantie, sinds afgelopen vrijdag, die we doorbrengen aan zee, even rust in de tent. Van gezellig bezoek en lekker eten. Van de kleertjes die ik op marktplaats zette en die ik binnen 24 uur allemaal verkocht had, dankzij jullie bloglezers. Van deze blogpost van een blog in Australië, omdat ik die foto’s eigenlijk alweer vergeten was en ik veel lol heb gehad met Wolf toen. Ik blaas hier aan de kust even stoom af en dan ben ik vast snel weer helemaal zennnn. Wat maakte jullie blij afgelopen week?

Last week wasn’t really my week. I’m so stressed; I flipped out at my job and that never happened to me before. My mailbox is totally full and I can’t find time to reply to all the senders. (sorry) I got angry because so many people copy my photo’s and even text without any permission or proper credit. I even found one of my photo’s with someone else’s signature on it, can you believe that? I was looking forward to show you some of the stuff Casper and I have been working on (we’re designing posters) but the postmen still didn’t bring the prints, argh. The photo above made me happy though, as did the holiday we’re spending at sea right now. This blogpost made me happy, because I almost forgot about these pictures and the fun Wolf and I had. Hopefully some sea, wind, friends & good food will calm me down the next couple of days. Have a happy new week!

Counting my blessings…

Ik werd deze week vooral blij van lekker gezond eten, samen zijn met vrienden, sporten en op tijd naar bed gaan. Daarnaast maakten we een wandeling door een mooi stuk natuur. De simpelste dingen zijn vaak het fijnst. Wat maakte jullie gelukkig?

Healthy food, being together with friends, working out and catching up some sleep were the things that made me happy last week. And a walk in the woods with the four of us. The most simple things can bring so much joy. What made you happy last week?
