Count your blessings

Wat een fijne, herfstige week! Mus besloot te gaan liggen in de herfstbladeren, geef hem eens ongelijk. We bakten croissants voor het ontbijt op zaterdag en Casper en ik hadden sinds maanden weer eens een gezamenlijk vrije zaterdagavond. We legden de kinderen op tijd in bed zodat we samen konden eten en keken een film. Heerlijk! (plankje via Makeroom)

Last week we enjoyed fall. Mus decided to take a rest in the fallen leaves. We cosied up baking croissants for breakfast and drinking hot cocoa near our stone stove. Casper and I had our first saturday-evening together without work in months, which we enjoyed having diner together. Lovely.

Wat me blij maakte deze week: Mus die voor het eerst laarsjes droeg, de laarsjes die ook Wolf het eerst droeg. Ik vind laarsjes zo schattig bij kindjes. Een rustig weekend, met -as we speak- sushi (met Nina-bordje) en True Blood op de bank. Wat maakte jullie blij afgelopen week?

What made me happy last week:
Mus wearing wellies for the first time in his life. This orange wellies belonged to Wolf and were his first too. Toddlers with wellies looks so adorable. And a quiet weekend with -as we speak- sushi (with Nina-plate) and True blood on the couch. What made you happy last week?

Maandag

Aftellen; nog twee weken tot de vakantie. Voor vandaag wat foto’s van afgelopen weekend met onder andere Mus die de broodla plundert. Fijne week!

Instax-saturday

In plaats van lomo’s, vandaag Instax, kleine analoge direct-klaar fotootjes van Fuji. Casper is op natuurgidsen-weekend, dus Mus, Wolf en ik zijn met z’n drieën thuis. We kijken films (the Dark Crystal) op de bank onder een dekentje, maakten een pizza en gaan morgen naar de dierentuin. Fijn!

Instead of lomo’s, Instax for today. Instax are small, direct-ready photo’s from Fuji. Casper is gone for the weekend, he’s off with his friends from the nature-club, so Mus, Wolf and I are home alone. We’re watching movies (the Dark Crystal) on the couch under a blanket and made a pizza. Tomorrow we’e going to the zoo. Good times.

Memories of a sunny weekend

De zon schijnt. We vieren een kinderfeestje in het park. Wolf’s vriendinnetje logeert bij ons. We barbecuen op het dakterras, drie keer achter elkaar. Mus kan los staan én klappen tegelijk. Wat een heerlijk weekend.

The sun is shining. Wolf’s invited for a party in the park and a sleepover afterwards. We’re having barbecues on our roof terrace. Mus stands and is clapping his hands at the same time. What a lovely weekend.
