Familie Zilverblauw

Ik hou van deze foto, die ik gisteren van ons maakte na een middag op het strand. Ik gebruikte een gammel reisstatiefje en de zelfontspanner. Hij is precies zoals we zijn. Wolf enthousiast, natte, warrige haren van het spelen in de zee, Mus wat afwachtend en verlegen, veilig op papa’s arm. Casper met armen om beide zoons. Ik een beetje weggemoffeld achter Wolf, omdat ik zelf het liefst niet op foto’s sta.

Ik haalde mijn uv-filter en zonnekap van de lens af voor deze foto, als je goed kijkt zie je overal zonnevlekjes. Alsof de zon op ons regent. Fijne zaterdag!

I love this photo I shot yesterday, after an afternoon at the beach. I used a small travel tripod and the self timer and took off the uv-filter and hood of the lens of my camera to let all the sunbeams in. The photo totally reflects who we are: enthusiastic Wolf, shy Mus save in daddy’s arms, Casper holding his sons and I’m a bit hidden, because I rather be behind than in front of the camera. If you look  closely, you see there are spots of sunlight covering the whole photo. It’s like the sun is raining down on us. Happy saturday!

Sushi-workshop

Wat me blij maakte deze week: mooie dagen aan het water, een echt zomergevoel (al duurde het maar even…) en een sushi workshop van culinair duo ‘Mireilleenco‘. Wat maakte jullie blij?

Mus #4 1

Mus geniet van de zon tijdens een wandeling. Het pakje van Mus is van Bobo Choses via sponsor Little Sahou, ik ben er verliefd op. Het maakt mijn toch al schattige peutertje nóg schattiger.

Mus enjoys the sun during a walk. His suit was a gift from sponsor Little Sahou. I love it, because it makes Mus even more adorable.

Wolf is de laatste tijd erg veel bezig met robots, hij bouwde een robotpak voor zichzelf.

Wolf is really into robots, he build himself a robotsuit out of carton boxes.

Count your blessings

We zwommen de hitte weg in Roelofarendsveen en zagen schitterende vlinders. Twee van mijn beste vrienden trouwden, met elkaar, en we hadden een topfeest. Dit gedicht raakte en ontroerde me. Ik werkte veel, maar ging niet kopje onder. Wat maakte jullie blij?

We swam the heat away in beautiful Roelofarendsveen, a place near the Dutch coast. Two of my best friend got married and we had a great party. This poem touched me big time. I worked a lot, but managed to keep breathing. How was your week?

Wolf mocht een weekje mee naar Zeeland met opa en oma en genoot daar van het warme weer. Ik ging met Mus naar het buitenzwembad in het bos, twee keer. Ik at buiten met mijn lief. We luisterden muziek samen, iets waar we normaliter vaak te moe voor zijn na de hele dag twee kinderen om ons heen. (en dat terwijl we allebei muzikanten zijn) We hadden een fijne week, hopelijk jullie ook?

Wolf spend a week at the summerhouse with Casper’s parents, so it was just Casper, Mus and me this week at home. We enjoyed the sun and visited the swimming pool twice. I had diner with my love in our garden and we listened to music together, something we should do so much more but don’t because most of the time the noise of two little boys leaves us tired and longing for silence in the evening. We had a nice week. How was yours?
